ISA PRESIDENT AND CEO LORI ANDERSON ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF NAM COUNCIL OF MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATIONS ALEXANDRIA, VA

The International Sign Association is pleased to announce the election of President and CEO Lori Anderson as Chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Council of Manufacturing Associations for 2010. The NAM Council of Manufacturing Associations is comprised of more than 225 trade association members and is the vehicle for manufacturing associations to work together and to become involved in the NAM. Its mission is to provide manufacturing associations with knowledge, resources and networks to help their members create a stronger and more prosperous U.S. manufacturing sector and a higher standard of living in America. “I have already gained so much from my participation with this organization and value the relationships with my NAM colleagues tremendously, said Anderson. “I am honored to assume the position of Chairman for 2010 and look forward to a productive year.” Council member associations work with NAM on expanding its information on issues affecting the manufacturing economy to a large base of manufacturers and allied partners and creating a greater opportunity for grass roots efforts. In addition, members of the NAM Council work with each other in peer-to-peer exchanges that strengthen their own organizations and help them to grow and prosper through educational forums and meetings. “Lori’s experience with manufacturing associations will be an asset to both the Council and the NAM as a whole. We look forward to having her as part of our leadership team,” said John Engler, President of the National Association of Manufacturers. Anderson’s term as Chairman commenced January 1, 2010 and will continue through the end of the year. About ISA The International Sign Association (ISA) is a 2,600-member trade association. GON Members in the Hurt Locker

The GON Agency Services was recently commissioned to place outdoor advertising on the streets of New York City for the newly released film "The Hurt Locker", we only needed to look to our members for support.  Summit Entertainment released the movie in 2 theaters in NYC, which opened June 26th amidst rave reviews from critics.  The focus of the outdoor media buy was to present the movie poster to the local audiences.  Since out-of-home can place you within close proximity of the potential theater goer, this was easily accomplished with key GON members.

Fuel Outdoor, PMD Promotions and Independent's Services were all selected for this targeted outdoor advertising campaign.  These members were able to turn on a dime and still provide above average service and placement for Summit Entertainment.  For more information: Read on..

Twitter a real time short message system started in 2006, is a easy and quick method of spreading your company's activities across networks.  The Great Outdoor Network is just one of those networks where Premier Members with Company Portfolios feature their latest Tweets.  To make it easier for visitors and users who are interested in a company can keep tabs on all the latest news and information.  Portfolios feature company RSS feeds, published articles, press and case studies in one central location.  These portfolios also feature the ability to watch video presentation and review an entire photo gallery of products, which is helpful in understanding the products and services each company may render. Contact information is provided with email capabilities, Skype direct calls and phone numbers so users can connect and begin the business process.
